Green Team IIUM or GT is an idea of a few students from the Centre for Foundation Studies IIUM. They formed a small group to act as environmental advocates in the year of 2007. In the year 2009 GT is known as a society that operates under the Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design of IIUM (KAED), and in 2010, GT joined Archimic, the KAED students’ society. At the moment GREEN TEAM is at par with ARCHAIS (Architecture students’ society), PLANMIC (URP students’ society), EARTHWORK (Landscape students’ society), QUEST (Quantity Surveying students’ society), and DESIGNEXT (Applied Arts students’ society) under the umbrella of ARCHIMIC.
